Let's learn about Christmas in Ukraine.


              Christmas in Ukraine        
          Christmas is one of the most interesting winter holidays. 
In Ukraine we celebrate Christmas on the seventh of  January.

        Christmas has many interesting traditions. The people decorate their houses with green Christmas trees. They buy presents for their children. They also send Christmas cards to their friends.                                                                                                         Christmas begins with Holy Supper. Ukrainians cook twelve meatless dishes. The main dish is kutia
        On Christmas morning the people go to church. When they come back home, they celebrate this great holiday with their family. Sometimes they go to visit their friends.The children run from house to house and sing koliadas. Koliada is a Ukrainian Christmas carol.
